This Recipe From 'A Beautiful Mess' is Scientifically Sweet

This crock pot caramel recipe is ridiculously easy and has many delicious possibilities, the best part about it is that it takes little effort to make an entire jar.

Caramel is so delicious. It makes me think of late summer time carnivals where kids are eating candy corn, carmel apples and ice cream sundays drizzled with rich viscus topping. Wouldn't it be remarkable if you could make your own caramel to enjoy all summer long? This simple recipe for crock pot caramel will change your life for the better. As long as you're cool with condensed milk.

Pour one can of condensed milk into a mason jar with a bit of coarse salt and seal the lid. Place it in a crock pot and fill with water. Place the lid on the crock pot and let it cook on low for eight hours. When you remove the jar you will have sticky sweet caramel for dipping apples, putting on ice cream or anything else you desire. Enjoy!
