Weird Inventions

Bruce Brodie's Creations From The Attic

Finding the notes of an artist who likes to "think up crazy stuff" would always be exciting, but when the notes come with detailed building instructions, things can get a little bit crazy!

Some of the artist Bruce Brodie's crazy inventions include an indoor sundial, wedge-proof underwear, an anti-smoking cowboy hat and my favorite, a political hot-air collector. The inventions are also quite useful. Take the fruitcake-powered Christmas tree, a little crazy sounding at first, but the lights run off the lemon juice and natural fruit acids.

The YAK-A-TRON 2000 harnesses the energy of all those loud mouths, by charging batteries via jaw movement. If only they had this device at Halle Berry's Oscar speech...

However Brodie doesn't recommend actually building any of his inventions. But then one has to wonder why he lists such detailed instructions?
