Pre-Seasoned Cookware

This Cornbread Skillet is Already Seasoned for Your Convenience

This pre-seasoned and pre-sectioned cornbread skillet from Lodge Logic makes the perfect cornbread or scone.

The pre-seasoning means you can use the product right away. The seasoning permeates through the metal's pores thoroughly and uniformly. You can add your own home seasoning as well by applying a thin layer of cooking oil to the pan's surface. Repeating this process will further season the pan and result in a darker appearance.

This cast iron cookware also results in more even heating, superior heat retention and non-stickiness. If properly taken care of, cast iron will last a lifetime. To clean, use hot water, mild detergent and a stiff brush. It should be towel dried and covered with cooking oil when it's still warm. The pan should be kept in a cool and dry location.

The cornbread skillet is great if you're also making chilli, or if you're making scones to go with afternoon tea.
