Copal Tree Distillery Expands the Release of 'Copalli Cacao' to the U.S.

Farm to flask rum maker Copal Tree Distillery has announced that it will be expanding the release of its popular 'Copalli Cacao' in the United States. Located in the rainforest in Southern Belize, Copal Tree Distillery is known for producing one-of-a-kind, single-estate rums that embody the flavors of this unique environment.

Sustainably produced and made from all-natural ingredients the 'Copalli Cacao' upholds the brand's emphasis on purity. In fact, the chocolatey rum is made from just four ingredients: organic heirloom sugar cane, yeast, cacao nibs, and pure water. In order to make this unique spirit, the company places its classic white rum into specialty tanks filled with 100% organic cacao nibs. "Over several weeks, the cacao nibs infuse a rich chocolate flavor and aroma into the rum, which is then redistilled to create a smooth, finished product," says Ed Tiedge, Master Distiller at Copal Tree Distillery.
