Illustrator Angela Hendricks Collaborates With Her 4-Year-Old

Professional illustrator Angela Hendricks has allowed her creativity to flow through someone much younger than herself: her 4-year-old. Hendricks chooses to collaborate with her young daughter to create magical, whimsical drawings.

With the simple pen strokes of a child and the advanced strokes of a professional illustrator, the drawings are extremely interesting to look at. Hendricks starts off drawing a portrait, but leaves the body up to her daughter to create. Like most little girls would, Hendricks' daughter adds flowers, trees or mushrooms and usually puts the body of an animal on each portrait.

The end result is quite unique as each drawing is funny and magical at the same time. Hendricks has created a way to bond with her daughter over her passion for art, and to create a series of unique illustrations together. Mother and daughter bonding time creates some great artwork in this case.
