Kraków designer Alicja Prussakowska designed the 'Tilia,' a coat stand with greater storage capabilities. The flexible piece of furniture resembles a propped-up pair of skis.
The pine racks feature curved hooks at the end, which are used to better hold outerwear and accessories. The racks are held in place by a fiberboard that is lacquered in white, offering storage for shoes, as well as a place to sit as you put them on.
Prussakowska challenged herself to design something that was both functional and visually appealing. She was inspired by the shape and flexibility of bending grass, pairing the silhouette with the beauty and simplicity of wood. The racks were shaped using traditional craft techniques and each hook was chiseled by hand.
