Massive Megapixel Close-Ups

This Close-Up Photography Series Uncovers the Mysteries of the Face

Close-up photography can be extremely uncomfortable, but it can also be amazing depending on the subject matter and artistry behind it. Daniel Boschung's new shoot borders on the latter by getting so close you can literally see everything in amazing macro fashion.

In one's everyday life, faces are just blurs. We see hundreds if not thousands of people a day but rarely take the time to actually look at someone. This close-up photography series does this for us and goes even a bit farther than we may have liked.

The camera used is a a custom-made camera that uses 900 megapixels (for reference many modern cameras use 16 to 25 megapixels) to give use every excruciating detail of a person's face in a big and bold way.Photo Credits: designboom, robophot
