Creativity-Celebrating Campaigns

Post-it's Clever Advertisement Honors the Artistic Spirit

Post-It launches a clever advertisement to recognize the long hours and intense labor creatives dedicate to their work.

It is often the case that the public is not fully aware of what goes into the conceptualization and realization of a painting, a song, a building and so on. To illuminate and celebrate creativity, Post-It debuts a wonderful campaign in collaboration with marketing agency Ogilvy Istanbul. The ad shows a musician, an architect and a man at his desktop (perhaps an illustrator), working away in the night. While the imagery of the clever advertisement is kept dark, the eye is drawn to the space of the artists which is illuminated by bright yellow. This offers a visually analogous nod to Post-It's product but it also doubles as a working symbol for "bright ideas."
