The Cheesecake Factory Has a New Classic Basque Cheesecake

This year, The Cheesecake Factory is celebrating National Cheesecake Day in a big way with the launch of its new Classic Basque Cheesecake.

For those unfamiliar, a Basque cheesecake differs from a New York-style cheesecake in that this interior isn't smooth or dense. Instead, a Basque cheesecake – which hails from Spain – is baked at a high temperature to give it a rich, gooey interior and then scorched and caramelized on the top to achieve its signature burnt crust. The Cheesecake Factory's take on a Classic Basque Cheesecake sticks to this recipe but then adds fresh strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream on top.

The Classic Basque Cheesecake will make its debut on National Cheesecake Day, which falls on July 30, 2022.
