Cholula Hot Sauce is Hosting a Fundraiser for Cinco de Mayo

Cholula Hot Sauce launched a virtual ‘Taco Tuesday’ event in the promotion of its fundraiser for Cinco de Mayo. The brand states that the event was the largest ever ‘Taco Tuesday’ to be hosted on Instagram Live. Cholula Hot Sauce also held a ‘TacoThon,’ where celebrities helped to raise money for restaurants that were financially impacted by COVID-19. The celebrities that attended the event were Victor Oladipo, an NBA player, and Christina Tosi, a Chef, as well as Aaron Schenchez and Dwayne Wade, former NBA players.

Cholula Hot Sauce will also donate $1 for each viewer on the live stream, and money will be sent to the Independent Restaurant Coalition. Additionally, the brand stated that a minimum of $50,000 will be donated, and the maximum donation will be valued at $100,000.
