Bite-Sized Mozzarella Balls

McDonald's UK is Adding Crispy Cheese Bites to Its Menu

McDonald's UK fans about to get a gooey new menu item called Cheese Bites. While the chain did offer Mozerella Sticks back for a short period of time back in 2015, the new version is looking cheesier than ever before.

The new Cheese Bites are bite-sized balls of fried mozzarella and Emmental cheese. The cheeses are blended together first, before they are coated in a herbed batter and deep-fried until crispy and golden brown. Each order comes with 10 balls, along with a Rich Tomato Dip on the side.

The crispy Cheese Bites are part of McDonald's Global Rotating Menu, which aims to add a new international selection to menus every two to three months. Other international fare includes the Goat Cheese Burger in Spain, the Matcha Green Tea McFlurry in Japan, and the Double BBQ Chicken Sandwich in France.
