Chalayan's 2013 line-up plays around with boxy looks and creates a futuristic and fashion forward montage of ensembles. The collection consists of only dark tones. There are slight pops of color such as deep magenta and burgundy, but the overall vibe is dark and ominous. Each piece is heavy, mysterious and packs in subtle details. Exquisitely crafted garments include an over-sized slouchy jacket with an exaggerated shawl collar and puffy cropped sleeves. Other highlights included, darted t-shirts and complex jackets with double zippers, slits and overlapping layers.
