The Conceptual 'C-Ecology' System Supports Aquatic City Life

The conceptual 'C-Ecology' has been designed by a group from the Tunghai University in Taiwan as an entry for the GREEN CONCEPT AWARD that is focused on supporting aquatic life in urban environments.

The system consists of 3D-printed planters that would float in the waterway and help greenery to flourish, while also providing ample space under the surface for aquatic life to call home. This would drastically enhance the amount of green space by extended it to areas that might otherwise not support it to accommodate greater biodiversity in out cities.

The conceptual 'C-Ecology' project makes use of advanced materials and technologies to support urban environments that are in need of modern solutions to incorporate natural elements into our increasingly crowded cityscapes.
