Waste Landscape by Elise Morin is Made Up of Shimmering Tech Hills

Waste Landscape is the name of a CD art installation that has been making its rounds around the world. Although it has been seen as early as 2011 in Paris, the stunning sculpture has since been given a change of scenery. Presented during the Art Festival White Night in Slovakia, the shining technology is brought indoors for an experience made even more fantastical through the use of light and space.

Created by Elise Morin, the CD art installation reflects light against the domed ceiling of the Kunsthalle – Hall of Art, creating a mesmerizing sight that will astound just about anyone. It is made up of 60,000 CDs, which were sewn together by hand.
