Dr. Martens Joined with CBGB to Launch a Pair of Co-Branded Boots

In celebration of Dr. Martens' 60th anniversary, the brand joined with the iconic underground music club CBGB, which has been around since 1973 and hosted an array of legendary bands -- including Blondie, the Ramones, and the Talking Heads.

The collaborative deal was brokered by CBGB's licensing agent, Epic Rights -- and results in two variations of the 1460 silhouette, Dr. Martens' classic eight-eye combat boot. With the club forming much of its reputation as a music landmark throughout the 70s and 80s, when many punk fans started to adopt the brand's styles -- the celebratory boots are the perfect way to celebrate Dr. Marten's legacy.

Both boot designs feature CBGB's branding at the toes, and Dr. Martens' classic heel tag and yellow stitching. One is a bold multi-colored design that seems to take cues from the graffiti-heavy scene in the club, while the other boasts white branding and stitching on the black leather.
