SmileDirectClub Debuts CarePlus Premium Aligner Offering

SmileDirectClub, a medtech platform for teeth straightening, has launched CarePlus, a new premium aligner treatment that combines in-person and virtual patient management for greater flexibility and choice. Customers start by visiting a participating Partner Network dental office for a 3D scan and consultation, and their treatment plan is then prescribed by licensed dentists and orthodontists using SmileDirectClub's teledentistry platform. The cost is $3900, which can be paid in full or in monthly payments.

"CarePlus offers consumers a unique hybrid choice that can give them even more confidence across the entire treatment journey and let them select the aligner plan that works best for them and their lifestyle," said Dr. Jeffrey Sulitzer, Chief Clinical Officer at SmileDirectClub.

CarePlus customers receive a selection of premium oral care products, 24/7 concierge support, and two years' worth of retainers with SmileDirectClub's Lifetime Smile Guarantee. The service is now available at select Partner Network locations in Denver, San Diego, Sacramento, and Orlando, with more locations to come.
