Expansive Cardboard Cityscapes

These Realistic Cityscapes are Made Entirely of Cardboard

Model creator Luke Aan De Wiel collaborated with photographer Andy Rudak to create these cardboard cityscapes. The cityscapes are meticulously created and represent another level in found item architecture.

Sculptures and displays usually aren't made of cardboard The material can be hard, difficult to use and lack malleability that other materials have. When put into expert hands though, the material can be used to come up with some inventive and impressive pieces of art.

These models were made at half scale and were created completely out of cardboard, but you couldn't tell by the detail-oriented nature of them. The cityscapes range greatly, from a New York street to a towerblock to even a slum in Mumbai, all made of cardboard.
