Esports Insider Launches the 'Carbon Neutral Collective'

Esports Insider is collaborating with Betclic Apogee to help develop a ‘Carbon Neutral Collective’ initiative that will help reduce the carbon footprint of gamers worldwide. The collective will gather its team of stakeholders and decision-makers to decide what can be done to aid the climate movement and reduce the carbon footprint of the gaming industry. The first meeting will be held at The Glowbox, BOXPARK, coinciding with ESI London 2022 which takes place September 5-7.

Sam Cooke, Managing Director & Co-Founder at Esports Insider, commented: "This first Carbon Neutral roundtable is an informational and honest behind-closed-doors discussion between key esports stakeholders. No judgements and absolutely no guilt tripping, we want to see what the challenges are for operators in esports, see what the appetite is for some collective group action and see what might be possible. I’m optimistic that this could be the start of something quite powerful and long term!"
