The Swedish start-up was created to relieve busy Volvo owners of having to worry about picking up packages or making sure they're home to sign for deliveries. With Urb-It, users make their car into the delivery location by tracking your car's geo-location and sending out a trusted employee with a single-use key.
All delivery employees, called "Urbers" by the company, are hired under strict regulations to ensure "high-class service and traceability" and orders can be tracked as soon they are place. While consumers are limited to shopping on "Urb-It-enabled" stores, the convenience of leaving work to find your online merchandise placed neatly in your car is enticing. Currently this car delivery service is only offered in Sweden, however the company has plans to expand it globally.
