Artist Mia Liu, who is known for creating massive paper sculptures, has done another astonishing piece titled 'Can't Stop Rolling it Up.'
The piece is dreamy and colorful. The work started out as a watercolor painting and was then cut and modeled into something with much more texture. The materials used were acrylic on watercolor paper on top of an aluminum plate to hold the whole piece.
Sweet Station reviews the piece, stating that "Simply by adjusting the viewing distance, the audience also shifts between macrocosmic or microsmic views, experiencing the work in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional aspects."
The piece resembles a shag rug and has many delightful colors thrown into the mix, including blue, yellow, pink, orange, green and lavender.
