Candy-Bowl Shaped Sofa

Matteo Thun's Tantisassi

Matteo Thun designed this sofa called the Tantisassi. Ballerhouse notes that the sofa looks like a bowl of M & M's.

To me the Tantisassi looks more like a bowl of flattened up eggs. The strategically placed cushions of the sofa are made of multi-colored or solid white polyurethane-foam which come in removable elasticized covers and the frame is made of steel and it stands on chromed feet tipped with nylon.

This candy-bowl sofa is a strange-looking piece of furniture.
