A team of Israeli researchers have developed a cancer breath test that has been proven to identify different types of the disease. Considering how sneaky cancer can be, usually the most invasive procedures are required to accurately diagnose (and even simply confirm) the disease.
The cancer breath test could provide a safe, convenient and quick way to properly diagnose the disease. According to Fast Company, by "using gold nanoparticle sensors, an "e-nose" device could distinguish healthy breath from that of patients with breast, lung, prostate, or colon cancer."
