DIY Hardcover Timpieces

Brit Morin Shows How to Turn Old Books Into Neat Clocks

If you have old textbooks laying around your home, then this project by Brit Morin is a perfect way to put them to use. Brit Morin is the founder and CEO of the lifestyle brand called Brit & Co. and in this video she shows viewers how to put together a very simple and nifty clock.

The only materials you will need to put one of these together is an old hardcover book, a drill, X-acto knife, a battery, tape and a clock kit. You simply trace out the clock onto the interior pages of the book, and then cut out enough pages so that the clock can sit snug. Then you simply drill a hole for the clock hands and you are done. In a matter of minutes you will have timepieces that can be placed on any table or dresser throughout the home. This project by Brit Morin is a great way to upcycle old books.
