Insect-Asphyxiating Ads

This Bref Disinfectant Campaign Produces Pleasant Odors

Bugs and people tend to appreciate very different living conditions, so it's encouraging to see a very uncomfortable fly featured in this Bref Disinfectant campaign. The bathroom cleaner advertises a "long lasting fresh scent" that one can expect will convert grubbier rooms into sweet-smelling spaces.

This poor insect becomes the victim of such a hygienic and olfactory transformation and he grasps and plugs his insect nose against the chemical fragrance. His pathetic animated presence remains incapacitated by this undesirable environment which places him unable to move from his perch on the edge of the toilet seat.

The TBWA\Central Asia & Caucasus advertising agency employed a fairly elementary form of visual representation, which would make any bug-hating homemaker quickly aware of the of the strength of the product behind the Bref Disinfectant campaign.
