Album-Anticipating Social Filters

Snapchat Joins Those Waiting for Frank Ocean's 'Boys Don't Cry'

The release of Frank Ocean's 'Boys Don't Cry' album has been long awaited, with the artist making earlier claims that he would bring it to the public only to change the release date, much to the dismay of his many excited fans who have been waiting for a new album since 2012.

In order to allow fans to express their growing lack of patience, Snapchat has created two different filters to be used during Frank Ocean's more recent release date. The first of the two shows a skeleton covered in cobwebs along with the words "Waiting for Frank Ocean's New Music Like..."

The other references the artist's well-known activity on Tumblr, with Snapchat making it appear as though the user is writing a note to Frank Ocean to plea for 'Boys Don't Cry.'
