As part of an art project for the Wearable Futures conference that took place in East London, alchemist Lauren Bowker has created a series of incredibly luxurious PHNX fashion pieces that were constructed only using feathers. That’s not all though; these feathery fashion pieces are incorporated with special type of ink that changes color depending on the climate or environment like heat, friction or light.
The ink is able to respond to seven different climate conditions by absorbing pollution and changing its color from yellow to black in polluted environments and changes back when the conditions are better. "Not only will it absorb air pollution, it will change colour to UV, heat, air friction, moisture and more. This gives it the capability to go through the full RGB scale," says Bowker on the pollution absorbent ink.
