Remote-Controlled Art Books

The BMW Culture Book Also Doubles as an RC Car

BMW is celebrating the 40-year anniversary of their commitment to culture with the new BMW Culture Book. The BMW Culture Book was created in part with Stefan Sagmeister, who signed each copy of the book, which apparently "cannot be sold or bought."

The BMW Culture Book contains pictures and stories about all of the art projects, musicians, etc. that BMW has sponsored over the years and it also doubles as an RC car! That's right, if you get bored of reading the BMW Culture Book, you can simply flip it over and drive it around.

Some people are calling the BMW Culture Book a cheap gimmick, but I actually like this idea. Books become little more than decoration after you've finished reading them. Why not squeeze a little more life out of them by turning them into an RC car? Check out the video to get a behind-the-scenes look at the book and to see it in all of its remote-controlled glory.
