Made out of seaweed, this biodegradable and edible packaging was designed to reduce the amount of plastic waste in oceans. Based in Indonesia, social business Evoware offers a range of products referred to as Bioplastics. Bioplastics were developed in collaboration with seaweed farmers, are halal certified and come with a safety guarantee.

Edible grade products include coffee sachets, dry seasoning sachets and food wraps for bread, burgers, sandwiches and the like. Ecoware's biodegradable grade items consist of soap packaging in different sizes. The zero waste biodegradable and edible packaging dissolves completely in water and acts as a natural fertilizer for plants. They're made without preservatives but still have a two-year shelf life. The packages can also be customized for brand use.
