Bike Guide is Designed to Get Tourists Cycling Across Seoul

The Bike Guide is a conceptual tour bus designed to hold a fleet of bicycles that tourists can use to further explore the sights of the city. The Bike Guide works by latching the bicycles to the bus to help cover the large stretches between landmarks. Once a landmark is reached, the bikes are detached from the bus and tourists are free to explore the area at their leisure. If a tourist should happen to get lost the bikes included navigation display helps to guide them back to the bus and away from such dangers as the ocean and the 38th Parallel.

The Bike Guide was created by a large team of Korean designers consisting of Kukil Han, Daehyun Kim, Bojoong Kim and Jihwan Yun. This design has an underlying element of eco-friendliness as it encourages cycling tours as opposed to bus tours, with the bus toting the bicycles powered by solar energy (peep the rooftop solar panels).
