Berry S'more Recipes

These Roasted Berry S'mores Substitute Graham Crackers for Waffle Cookies Too

The Roasted Berry S'more is a fun and fruity twist on the classic campfire treat.

Created by blog Jelly Toast, the recipe substitutes the traditional graham crackers for waffle cookies -- although, you can definitely continue using the crackers if you wish. It also introduces a fruity element in addition to the fire-roasted marshmallow and melted chocolate. In this case, there is a "slightly spiced" mixture of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. The blogger also used an extra large marshmallow.

If you want to make the berry s'more on your own, you will need berries, cardamom, sugar and vanilla for the sauce. This version used Campfire Marshmallows Giant Roasters, a milk chocolate bar and waffle cookies for the rest of the s'mores. However, you could also try it with shortbread cookies.
