RIMOWA and Porsche Tap Benedict Radcliffe for a Car Sculpture Project

RIMOWA and Porsche have recently collaborated to design a limited-edition Hand-Carry Case Pepita, which features elements inspired by the first-generation Porsche 911. Artist Benedict Radcliffe has created a sculpture out of hollow steel tubes that resemble the classic design of the Porsche 934. The reproduction rests on authentic Porsche wheels, features RIMOWA emblems on its laterals, and comes with a special RIMOWA x Porsche bag, which is stored in the front trunk.

Benedict Radcliffe is famously known for automotive sculptures using wire and steel. Past projects include the ‘BLUEPRINT and LAMBORGHINI TWIN TURBO COUNTACH MODEL,’ and the ‘PORSCHE 930 SLANTNOSE 1:15.’ Radcliffe’s current project uses stainless steel and was revealed by the artist through a series of images that were captioned: "I LIKE WORKING WITH PRECISION ENGINEERING FIRMS."
