This Upcycled Beach Furniture Gives New Life to Refuse

This upcycled beach furniture has been designed by Rotterdam, Netherlands-based design studio The New Raw as a range of pieces that are crafted using an unexpected material. The collection of pieces is referred to as 'The Element' and consists a total of three components including a fitting room, a sun bed and a footpath. Each of the pieces are constructed using a 3D printing manufacturing method along with 100% recycled plastic sourced from the ocean to further highlight their upcycled aesthetic.

The upcycled beach furniture pieces are each paired with a series of 3D textures that give them an aesthetically pleasing appearance that also enables air ventilation, water drainage, cooling and more. This ensures the fluid furniture pieces will be perfectly at home when positioned on the beaches of Greece, where they were commissioned by Coca-Cola.
