Zipper-Free Sleeping Bags

The Backcountry Bed Zipperless Sleeping Bag is Streamlined

The sleeping bag has been reinvented with the Backcountry Bed Zipper-Less Sleeping Bag, and this time, it has no zippers or any other finicky things attached.

Sierra Designs is set to launch The Backcountry Bed in January. The zipperless style is not the only thing setting this sleeping bag apart. Unlike those frumpy old sleeping bags we’re used to, the Backcountry sleeps more like a bed. The design itself if intrinsically different; shaped like a cocoon with a flexible quilt. The base of the bag is a pad sleeve, keeping it flat and secure. For extra warmth in the woods, the Backcountry Bed has DriDown insulation, keeping the bag light enough to lug around with you, yet compressed enough to keep you feeling insulated while wicking away moisture.

Offered in two fills, 600 or 800 for varying degrees of warmth, don’t be surprised if this is the best sleep of your life.
