Nudevertising for Wine

Avondale Wine Goes 'Au Naturel'

The "Au Naturel" campaign for Avondale Wine is simple and straight to the point: we are getting back to nature.

The brand made a decision a few years ago to produce wine in a natural way that will not harm the environment. They use cover crops instead of fertilizers to restore the balance of the soil. They also use ducks and wasps to control pests, rather than artificial sprays.

As a reflection of their natural wine production process, the ad campaign shows the employees working in the nude (Au Naturel) while gathering, testing and storing the wine.

Nudity is a universal language for being natural, and I believe the ads are pretty effective in delivering their message.
