Pixar Animator Austin Madison Draws Incredible Fantasy NFL Matchups

These illustrations from Pixar animator Austin Madison bring a whole new meaning to fantasy football.

Throughout the NFL season, Austin Madison would sketch up an artist's conception of the result of a matchup that happened that week. The ideas and interesting interpretations of team names has resulted in mindblowing images that will bring a smile to the face of any NFL fan. The pop culture references in the sketches are also incredibly clever. Examples of such include the Arizona Cardinals being depicted as religious cardinals instead of birds, the Kansas City Chiefs being depicted as the Master Chief from the Halo video games, or even the New Orleans Saints being interpreted as the pistol wielding Boondock Saints.

It's no wonder that Austin Madison works for Pixar, as you'd expect this level of astonishing creativity from the studio that brought us Toy Story and Wall-E.
