Rodin-esque Furniture

Atelier Van Lieshout Shows at Carpenters Workshop Gallery in London

Presently showing at the Carpenters Workshop Gallery in London are these furniture pieces which incorporate the human form in their design. Created by Atelier Van Lieshout, the exhibition is called Furniture II and is a follow up to their 2007 offering.

While the furniture is actually quite interesting, apparently, the human bodies are piled up to represent decaying bodies. Hmmm. Perhaps they would sell more pieces if they left out that piece of information. What do you think?
