Orient Snow is the Asian distributor for the UK-based company Snow Business, which has provided the artificial snow for such prestigious productions as Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. Outside of the movie industry, however, Orient Snow has found another opportunity for artificial snow use.
Many Asian countries have tropical climates that never see natural snow, but brides in these areas still find the aesthetic of a winter wedding appealing. The concept has become so desirable, in fact, that Orient Snow is advertising its artificial snow for use in wedding ceremonies and photo shoots. Currently, 5% of Orient Snow's business comes from private photographers like Siu Ming, a popular photographer who has seen great success incorporating the artificial snow into bridal shoots. The company says that it can see this figure growing to 20 or 40%.
