Having returned from a gruelling tour in Hellmand Province (and previously worked as a photographer), Bran Symondson really wanted to get back out to Afghanistan and document the culture and events that had shaped his recent life.
A few months ago he was given this opportunity as The Sunday Times and the MOD commissioned him to return to the war stricken nation and document that goings ons between the Afghan National Police (ANP) and the British Army.
