These Photographs Display Famous American Landscapes Made with Processed Food

Photographers Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman have released their latest photography project that includes refashioned American landscapes. The two creatives have taken famous photos of American scenery and have recreated them using processed foods.

Ciurej and Lochman call their project 'Processed Views.' For this series of photographs, the two photographs used old photos of western American landscapes, originally shot by Carleton Watkins. Wanting to portray the culture and consumption of food in the United States, Ciurej and Lochman refashioned American landscapes using bread, cola, bacon and other processed foods.

The 'Processed Views' series features great American landscapes such as the Albion River -- recreated with Fruit Loops and milk -- as well as a french fry version of Oregon's Columbia River.
