The American Dream Series Seems to Star a Real-Life Barbie and Ken

The American Dream photo series follows the perfect family, or should it be said the perfect plastic family. If Barbie and Ken were real and they had a family, it would definitely look like this. Taking the Brad & Angelina W magazine spread to a whole new level, the American Dream series is prim, proper and full of attitude beneath the polished layers of preppy clothing and stoic expressions.

Shot by Uruguay-based photographer Tali Kimelman, the American Dream photo spread is set to appear in the Dress Mix magazine. Beautifully shot, the American Dream models were styled by Valentina de Llano, rocking outfits that socialites and their families would wear.

This is what Kimelman has to say about the American Dream shoot, "This story is inspired in the dream family, with an 'ideal' atmosphere. Perfection doesn't really exist."
