Chocolate Kiss-Shaped Lighting

Alma by Roger Vancells Has a Passionate Inner Glow

Alma by Roger Vancells is a light fixture than might resemble a chocolate Hershey's kiss at first glance, but it has a more sensual undertone than that. At least according to the designer. As it is written on its website, it represents "the sensuality of a body under cover of darkness with an internal passionate light."

Created for Modiss, Alma by Roger Vancells is hollow. It is from this central recess that it sheds light in its surroundings, hence its 'internal passionate light.' Available in black or white, it hangs from the ceiling like a large tear drop. Yet it has a sleek and modern look that does not bring to mind natural elements such as water. Granted, its form is fluid.
