Samsung Created a 43.7-Megapixel Sensor for Phone Cameras

Samsung has created a 43.7-megapixel sensor, which has the smallest pixels ever. The camera sensory is less than 5mm wide and it has a comparable to resolution to many high performing cameras. The company's VP, Tongin Park spoke about the small camera sensor, "That will enable sleeker and more streamlined designs as well as excellent imaging experiences in tomorrow's smartphones." The 43.7-megapixel sensor will also provide users with the ability to record 4K videos, without losing field of view performance.

The new camera sensor from Samsung is unprecedentedly small while offering the performance of conventional cameras.
