In today's crowded society, having a conversation in a public space seems to be getting more difficult, but the design concept by 1:1 by David Tsai looks to solve this communication issue. This product consists of a box that helps conversationalists find a niche in the middle of the loud urban jungle.

The Houston Community College artist on residence, David Tsai wanted to found a way to keep distractions away to allow for longer and more meaningful chats. He explains, "Conversation versus updates. Today, communication and social media are increasingly entwined. Our attention is easily fractured by constant updates, tweets, alerts and texts. Short bursts of text can be useful, but serve as a poor substitute for a conversation." This closed cubicle is made of acoustic material that minimizes sound and creates better acoustic. It's composed of a series of walls that create a tube with two open ends where chatters can sit to talk.
