As a child, Jeffreys grew up in a wide variety of places including Australia, Papua New Guinea and India and as a result was constantly exposed to and surrounded by nightlife. In fact, when she was living in Australia, she and her father would often rescue birds and small animals in distress, nursing them back to health before releasing them into their natural environment.
Jeffreys' love of birds and animals is apparent in this photo series. The photos depict the birds as having a strong awareness of their surroundings in addition to unique personalities.
