Shiseido Launches Sustainable Packaging for E-commerce Consumers

To offer e-commerce customers eco-friendly packaging options, Shiseido has introduced new eco-friendly alternatives. One option is the Eco-friendly Clear Bag, which is made from Polyvinyl Alcohol (also known as PVA), starch, glycerin, and water, and is considered a "green" plastic bag. The bag is biodegradable, water-soluble, compostable, environmentally safe, and also features eco-friendly printing.

Additionally, a new cushioning honeycomb wrap made of Kraft paper that is 100% recyclable is being used to replace bubble wrap inside the brand's e-commerce packaging.

With the new packaging options, Shiseido aims to create a plastic-free future. The brand commented on the new eco-friendly offerings, stating, "Brand Shiseido intensifies its goal to make the world a better and more beautiful place with a series of Sustainable Beauty Actions (SBAS)."
