Compostable Coffee Capsules

Dualit Now Sells Its Single-Origin Coffee in Compostable Pods

Dualit recently began selling its single-origin coffee in compostable pods. With growing concern about the amount of waste generated by single-serve coffee pods, these compostable capsules serve as an eco-friendly packaging solution.

Dualit's new range Nespresso-compatible pods deliver single-origin coffee in an eco-friendly container. The coffee itself is made from premium beans grown in a single geographic location by Fairtrade producers. The coffee is then packaged in 100 percent compostable capsules that break down in about 90 days through exposure to natural heat. As a result, the new pods are far more sustainable than the current, non-recyclable coffee capsule options.

There are two single-origin blends available in the compostable pods for those who enjoy premium coffee, but are also concerned about sustainability.
