Shoe Brand Crocs Announces It Will Be Fully Vegan and Net Zero Company

Popular shoe brand, Crocs, recently announced it's going to be fully vegan by the end of 2021 and announced plans to become net zero by 2030. While Crocs is a mostly vegan company, the brand does have some styles that leverage leather, however, the brand's commitment to using no animal products stems from its commitment to sustainability.

"Taking action to reduce our environmental footprint by implementing more sustainable practices across our entire business is the right thing to do for Crocs," Crocs CEO Andrew Rees said. "As a company, we are deeply committed to accountability and we’re confident that we have the right team, the right innovations and the right partners to help us achieve our net zero ambitions by 2030."
