Flying Hangliders

The Ramphos Flying Boat Lets You Sail The Skies

Cross a hang glider with a dingy, slap on a motor and some wheels, and you’ve got the Italian-made Ramphos Flying Boat.

It may look like something your nutty neighbor cobbled together in his garage, but it is apparently one of the most easily piloted ultra lights for beginners. And the ability to take off and land on water saves on expenses if you live near water, not to mention, it has the bonus of freaking out boaters and bathers.

A Brazilian company called Brio makes a similar flying boat that is featured in the video.
