The Norda 001 M22 Is Made From Bio-Based Dyneema and Cordura

Montreal-based footwear label Norda has announced the launch of its first 2022 collection, which features four versions of the new Norda 001 M22.

The Norda 001 M22 is an eye-catching, high-performance trail sneaker made from bio-based Dyneema and recycled Cordura. For those unfamiliar, Dyneema is one of the world's strongest fibers with a tensile strength 15 times greater than high-quality steel, while Cordura is a synthetic fabric with outstanding tear-resistant properties. As a result, the Norda 001 M22 is a highly robust running shoe that is, at one time, lightweight, durable, and sustainably made.

In addition, the new hiking shoe features an exclusive Vibram Formation sole with Litebase, Vibram SLE midsole cushioning, Megagrip rubber, and a custom-designed TPU insole, all of which combine to improve the shoe's overall performance and comfortability.
