New 7 Wonders of Nature

Voting For Seven Wonders of the World Part 2

The New 7 Wonders of Nature will be determined by international voting.  The campaign is being operated by New 7 Wonders, who in 2007 tallied up more than 100 million votes to determine the New Seven Wonders of the World.

As previously reported on Trend Hunter, the New Seven Wonders of The World (pictured) are: the Colosseum, Italy; the Great Wall of China; the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt; the Taj Mahal, India; Christ the Redeemer Statue, Brazil; Petra, Jordan; Machu Picchu, Peru; and the Pyramid at Chichen Itza, Mexico.

The project is being operated by a Swiss-based nonprofit. So far they have collected 441 nominations which were narrowed down to a list of 261 locations. You can vote until July 7th. More than 1 billion votes are expected.

What locations will become the New Seven Wonders of Nature?  The Grand Canyon?  Angel Falls?  Mount Everest?  Niagara Falls?

You can determine by voting at the New 7 Wonders of Nature website.
